The wife comes first, the state second, and the husband last.

He spent his life at war, winning glorious victories, only to be cast aside like a bow once all the birds were slain;

He favored his concubines and mistreated his wife, unworthy of being anyone's husband. In the end, the only person who stood by him was the male wife he had neglected for over a decade...

Given a second life, Jing Shao resolves to turn over a new leaf and become a better man. But...

Standing outside the bedroom door with a pillow in his arms, Jing Shao gazes up at the sky and clenches his fist. This prince will restore his husbandly authority!

So he pounds on the door. "Junqing, I know I was wrong. Let me in!"

P.S. Mostly lighthearted, no angst, happy ending~
