Chapter 142

Chapter 108 Part 3

When there was about 20 minutes until arrival, many people in the carriage had already dragged their luggage to stand by the doors waiting.

"Brother Cheng," Gu Fei yawned and stretched his arms, "did you not sleep well last night?"

"No, slept fine," Jiang Cheng rubbed his face.

"You were snoring just now," Gu Fei said.

"Get out..." Jiang Cheng said halfway, then turned and glared at him. "Really?"

"Kidding," Gu Fei said.

"Damn," Jiang Cheng breathed a sigh of relief. No matter where, image was still important. A handsome guy with his mouth hanging open snoring on the train was definitely a tragic event that not even good looks could salvage.

The big sister inside also dragged her luggage, squeezing toward the door. Jiang Cheng stood up and put a knee on the seat, looking forward and back.

Gu Fei very stealthily put his hand into Jiang Cheng's clothes, touching his stomach.

Just as he was about to take his hand out, Jiang Cheng leaned back against the seat back, trapping Gu Fei's hand against his stomach.

"Quite bold huh?" Gu Fei looked at him.

"Right now is the time to be shameless," Jiang Cheng smiled. "No one knows me anyway."

Gu Fei didn't speak, just lightly wiggled his fingers, scratching Jiang Cheng's stomach a couple times.

After everyone emptied out of the carriage, the two of them finally took their luggage and got off the train, slowly walking toward the exit where Pan Zhi was waiting for them.

They hadn't even walked halfway when Pan Zhi's phone call came in: "Gramps! Say, are you two taking revenge on me! Everyone else on your train has fucking left already! Are you two planning to come out or not!"

"Almost there," Jiang Cheng laughed hard. "Who has time to get revenge on you, just didn't want to squeeze through the crowd."

"Hurry up," Pan Zhi said. "I already booked a room, after dropping off your stuff let's go eat. I reserved the table too."

"Booked a room?" Jiang Cheng was baffled.

"You're going to sleep under a bridge at night? Or you in the dorms and Gu Fei under a bridge?" Pan Zhi asked.

"No, I can book it myself," Jiang Cheng said.

"I'm begging you gramps, just let me do something," Pan Zhi said. "We supporting male roles have hard times ok. Our scenes keep getting stolen by Gu Fei."

"I'll give you more scenes later, we can hug properly," Jiang Cheng said.

"Ask the male lead first if he's ok with that," Pan Zhi said.

It didn't feel that long since he last saw Pan Zhi, but coming out of the station and seeing Pan Zhi with a new hairstyle, dressed like a typical scum man, Jiang Cheng still couldn't help a smile spreading from his heart.

"Gramps!" Pan Zhi yelled very excitedly.

"Grandson!" Jiang Cheng also yelled back.

All the passersby looked over, witnessing their grand reunion.

Pan Zhi rushed over to hug Jiang Cheng tightly: "F*ck, I really missed you."

Jiang Cheng laughed and patted his back.

Pan Zhi let him go and turned to hug Gu Fei as well: "Long time no see."

"You're eight levels more handsome than last time," Gu Fei said.

"Good eyes," Pan Zhi gave him a thumbs up, then waved his hand. "Let's go, subway goes straight there."

"Did you come way earlier ahead of time?" Gu Fei asked.

"Of course," Pan Zhi said. "Stuck with my parents all summer, had to escape asap. I came over half a month ago, just wandering around sightseeing every day waiting for you two."

Pan Zhi was already very familiar with all the routes. He took them straight to school via subway. The booked room was at a hotel right next to it.

"You two settle in first, meet downstairs in the lobby in half an hour," Pan Zhi said. "Don't be late, the reservation will be cancelled if we're over time."

"Ok." Jiang Cheng went into the room and sat on the bed, watching Gu Fei put the luggage against the wall and check the bathroom only to find there was no hot water yet.

The joy of seeing Pan Zhi and the comfort of chatting the whole way here gradually settled after entering the room.

Looking at Gu Fei walking around, his heart suddenly surged with reluctant feelings that seemed to overwhelm him.

Tonight for one night, tomorrow for one day.

The morning after, Gu Fei would leave.

And he would start a new life, new environment, new people, new life, without Gu Fei by his side.

For a long time, he and Gu Fei could only contact through a phone that was omnipresent yet absolutely unable to alleviate missing each other.

When he wanted to hug Gu Fei, kiss Gu Fei, he would only have a screen.

Once this thought started, it could no longer be reined in.

"Gu Fei," he called Gu Fei's name aloud.

"Hm?" Gu Fei responded from the bathroom, but didn't come out.

Jiang Cheng stood up and walked to the bathroom door, seeing Gu Fei standing at the sink, hands braced on the counter looking at himself in the mirror.

Hearing Jiang Cheng come over, Gu Fei swiftly turned on the faucet and splashed water on his face.

"Gu Fei," Jiang Cheng called him again, his heart twisting.

"Mm," Gu Fei turned his head and smiled at him.

Eyes a little red.

"You cried," Jiang Cheng walked over, his own voice trembling slightly. He held Gu Fei's face, gently wiping away the water. "Did you cry?"

"Mm," Gu Fei closed his eyes briefly. "Brother Cheng, I miss you a lot, right now."
